Only MkVI arms are included for the shoulder-mounted weapons. For MkIV models, this might still work, but compared to the heavy MkIII armour the difference is too obvious. It's a pity they didn't consider the old kits for this set either.

Q&A Aenigmatrix • • Edited In the Rogue Trader RPG, one of the available weapon upgrades is Forearm Weapon Mounting. At least we can be sure that regular humans also do use this kind of mounting. This heavy bracing allows a single ranged weapon to be mounted along the arm, with specific hand movements triggering the weapon.

All this in my head as my IF shame pile awaits but: I plan on having different armor marks, some OOP or otherwise archaic/relic weaponry (shoulder mounted heavy bolter!), kitbashing from FW command squads and some torsos, capes, etc. Paint-wise I plan to, like you, incorporate more red, helmet markings, capes, and on the rhino to really give off the praetorians of terra feel.
